Position: Venture Builder (f/m/d)

At TheVentury, we are looking for a Venture Builder to join our dynamic team.
 
In this role, you will support in building up ventures from 0 - 1. You will play a vital role in developing products and services that positively affect people's lives.
 
As a Venture Builder, you will be part of a diverse and cross-functional team that develops and implements innovative business models, collaborating to create new revenue streams for our partners. Your expertise will support the venture's journey, always focusing on delivering measurable outcomes and tangible results

What you will do:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead key aspects of our venture building process, from shaping ideas to delivering market-ready solutions
  • Develop and test assumptions focusing on effective and customer-centric solutions
  • Collaborate and share your expertise with cross-functional teams
  • Manage project streams independently, taking ownership and responsibility for delivering key results
  • Engage with users & customers of the venture to validate solutions and ideas as well as gathering insights for iteration
  • Contribute to the overall direction and success of the venture
  • Support in business development efforts, e.g. proposal development, spotting new business opportunities and nourishing client partnerships
  • Participate in the strategic setup in which ventures will operate

About you:

Every Venturer brings in specific expertise and a hands-on attitude.
 
For this specific role, we are searching for an individual with the following profile:
  • You are collaborative, innovative, and empathetic.
  • Your entrepreneurial mindset and passion for innovation, as well as your ability to recognize patterns and solve problems, set you apart
  • (Ideally) you have a bachelor's or master's degree in innovation management, entrepreneurship, or similar fields.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years' experience across these fields:
    • startup founding
    • management / strategy consulting
    • venture building / company building
    • or a similar role
  • This is a full-time role, with a willingness to travel occasionally
  • Fluency in English and German is essential
  • Experience with low- to high-fidelity business casing
  • Experience in generating new business opportunities in a service-oriented environment is a plus

We are required by law to disclose the minimum salary in line with the collective bargaining agreement (€36,978).
For this specific role, we offer a competitive salary according to our career scheme which is €47,000 gross per year, paid over 14 salaries.
However, the final salary can be higher, depending on your experience and qualifications.
